Steady your Spiritual Ship

A great "secret" that eludes people is not from lack of disclosure. They get well announced but are ignored because they are counter-intuitive. Jesus had much to teach that fell on deaf ears for that reason. One of his greatest teachings was "self-abandonment", explained in various ways. We can feel its too much for us to die to our wills. Yet nothing becomes more freeing and empowering. For when we abide in Christ, yoked to his will, we flourish in the identity of who He made us. And there we enjoy the joy, peace and power of a Spirit-led life, undisturbed by the assaults of earthly concerns that would rock our ships.
